How Center Cougar Boosters collects, uses, and protects your information.

Our Commitment to Your Privacy

Center Cougar Boosters ("we," "us," or "our") is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization supporting students, athletics, clubs, and academic programs at Center High School in Antelope, California. We respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding the personal information you share with us.

1Information We Collect

We collect information to facilitate memberships, manage student accounts, organize volunteer opportunities, process donations, and communicate school-related booster activities.

Direct Information

  • Full name & contact email
  • Phone number & mailing address
  • Student name, grade level & ID number
  • Membership tier & volunteer interests

Third-Party Identity Providers

When you sign in using social logins (Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo), we receive your authenticated name, email address, and unique provider account identifier to link your login securely.

Payment & Financial Information

Payments made for memberships, store merchandise, donations, or birthday marquee messages are processed securely through certified third-party payment gateways (PayPal, Square, Stripe). Center Cougar Boosters never stores or has access to your full credit card numbers, debit cards, or banking credentials.

2How We Use Your Information

  • Managing booster memberships, annual renewal cycles, and member portal access.
  • Maintaining student TBD (To Be Determined) fundraising account credits and reimbursement disbursements.
  • Fulfilling orders from the Cougar online store, birthday marquee requests, and event tickets.
  • Coordinating volunteer programs (e.g. Wheatland Amphitheater concessions) and tracking volunteer hours.
  • Sending relevant booster announcements, meeting notices, and event updates (opt-out available anytime).
  • Complying with non-profit 501(c)(3) legal, tax, and auditing requirements.

3Information Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to advertisers or unaffiliated third parties.

Your information is only shared under the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Trusted cloud and backend infrastructure (Google Cloud / Firebase) and payment processors (PayPal, Square, Stripe) strictly to operate booster services.
  • School District Coordination: Center Joint Unified School District (CJUSD) / Center High School staff only when required to verify student eligibility for booster-funded activities, grants, or scholarships.
  • Legal Compliance: When required by applicable law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process.

4Data Security

We implement industry-standard security safeguards including SSL/TLS encryption for all web traffic, role-based database access permissions, secure server-side session management, and encrypted credential storage for sensitive request workflows.

5User Data Deletion Instructions

In accordance with Meta / Facebook Platform policies and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

How to Request Account & Data Deletion

To delete your account data, please follow either of these methods:

  1. Email Request: Send an email from your registered address to info@centerboosters.com with the subject line "Account Data Deletion Request".
  2. Facebook Settings: If you logged in via Facebook, you can remove Center Cougar Boosters under your Facebook Profile → Settings & PrivacySettingsApps and Websites → Select Center Cougar Boosters → Click Remove.

Upon receiving your request, our administrators will permanently remove your login identity and personal data within 30 business days, retaining only minimal financial audit records required by law for non-profit 501(c)(3) record-keeping.

6Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our website and member portal are intended for adult parents, guardians, educators, community supporters, and high school students who are at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verified parental consent. Any student data stored on our platform is provided directly by parents/guardians for the express purpose of school program enrichment.
